For every parent having a child is a special event. It’s that great moment that can be shared between a couple, their family and friends, the world and with the child themself. This should be a very joyous moment for all involved. However, at the same time this can be a very stress time for a couple. You are responsible for bring a new born into the world and that is a very powerful thing. It can be easy to get lost in the moment and that is why I started this blog. For my first lesson lets go over some of the basic items that will be needed.

Let’s start with shelter, one of the basics of survival. Presumably you already have a home or apartment and that’s great, however, that’s not quite what I’m talking about. Here I’m thinking cloths and someplace to sleep. It is important when buying baby clothes that you get a variety of sizes from infant to 1 year old. Your baby is going to grow like a weed and it will be much easier to manage if things like clothing are prearranged.  A crib and changing area is also highly recommended. Your child will need to sleep and be changed somewhere after all.

Many items will need to be purchased over and over again. In other words these things won’t be reusable. The most obvious examples would be diapers as well as wipes and baby powder. These will constantly have to be on hand and purchased or else you’ll find yourself in a bind.

Food is another biggy. Unless you plan to breat feed, you cannot go wrong with stocking alot of formula away. If you’re beyond formula, make sure to get soft food as well as your baby will obviously not have any teeth yet. With that in mind have a good supply of baby bottles on hand so that some can be in use and in the wash. Have a rotation of sorts.

There will be an assortment of other handy items out there to keep in mind as well. Things that really can make life easier with a child. A baby carrier of any sort would be might handy and probably free up your hands for other things. If you’d rather a stroller would be pretty much the same thing and be just as handy. You could get a used stroller for sale and save some money as well. On a similar note a car seat is needed if you on a car. It is of the upmost importance for safety reasons.

If your child is in a seperate room then it would be wise to install or have on hand a baby monitor. This is in order to make sure that you can hear the child while sleeping or otherwise away. So ther you have it a list of several items that would be needed to inhance your baby care abilities. Many of these items I would consider very necessary so be sure to snag them all before birth.

This is certainly my first post on my new blog. Anyway, I go by the name N.D. Lions and i’m an expert at baby care. Specifially, I help parents prepare before the baby arrives and help them in the intial stages of child development if needed. My primary job is to make sure that parents get the information that they need and so that they can fully informed parents. With that said this blog is going to be my outlet for child care providing information that new parents can hopefully use to the fullest. At least, that is going to be my personal goal for this blog.
